DUCKCREEK’S SMOKIN NORA ROSE was born October 10, 2018 to now retired Kimber & Gunner.  She is a dilute chocolate, commonly referred to as a “silver lab”.  As you can see if you click on the PawPrint Genetics Medallion below, she is clear on twenty of the twenty-two genetic tests that are common to Labrador Retrievers and a carrier to the other two. A carrier means the dog carries one normal copy and one mutated copy of the gene sequence being tested for. As long as you breed your dog to another that has two normal copies of the gene, the offspring will not be affected.
